| There
is an ebb and flow, a timbre and pitch, an intonance and inference,
that we all bring to our speaking voices - unconsciously. Music. That
music makes a message interesting. It sells.
I've been immersed in music my entire life.
I was raised with it, I live it and breathe it. I hear it all around
me. All the time. (And before you ask me if I'm seeing a therapist
for that, read on.)
From documentaries and podcasts to business
presentations and voice mail - from book trailers to novel narrations,
the voice that represents your work should be interesting to listen
to without being distracting - and it should get your point across
with the right inflections, animation and tone. That's the natural
music in your message - and it appeals to listeners because they
recognize it in their own voices.
I take direction well - whether that be through email, on the phone,
or in a face-to-face session. I've been working in studios for many
years and know how to work with the microphone to get you the best
sound possible - with a minimum of fuss (ie: quickly!)
I'm also a singer. If that's a service you're
in need of, check here for song
samples and more information.
If you'd like to talk with me further about
your unique project, feel free to email
me or give me a phone call at 905-836-5444. Alternatively,
if you'd like an audition, I'm happy to do that too. Please visit
my Contact page to see what would be
most helpful for me to have in the email containing that request.
On this website, you'll find more information
about my background, voice-over
demos and singing demos along
with various other resources I've gathered
together. If you have any questions, I'm always available for a
chat.
I want you to feel completely comfortable
working with me and I also want to make sure that you're 100% satisfied
with the end results.
I look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
--Jodi
