reach me immediately, you can email
me or call me at 905-836-5444. I return emails within
12 hours at a maximum and can sometimes respond within the hour. If
I'm not able to take your phone call immediately, feel free to leave
me a message and I'll do my best to return your phone call within
the same amount of time.
I'm happy to accommodate you whether you
would like a quote immediately, have already chosen me for your
project, or require an audition before making your decision. For
auditions, I have a small home studio
and can send out the audio file in whatever format you need, attach
it to emails, or put it online for you to download at your leisure.
When completing a project I've been hired
for, I prefer to go into a local studio (a Pro-Tools, Mac environment
with an isolation booth), using a true sound engineer's expertise
so that I can concentrate only on getting you the best performance
possible. Sound files can then be created in any format you require
and can be sent overnight in CD/DVD format, or uploaded to a server
where you can download them immediately.
My quotes include the studio time required to complete your
project. That quote is also for dry voice only. If you require
the addition of music or sound-effects into the voice over, etc.,
please let me know. For an idea of what these rates might be at
their minimum, you can check
here for current, reasonable, non-union rates (note though,
that the rates listed on that sheet do not include studio time).
My own quote for you (just for the voice, not the studio) may be
less or slightly more, depending on the demands of your unique project
and your situation (I give discounts for nonprofits, for instance,
and I'll consider discounts for other reasons as well. I'm willing
to negotiate).
I can choose from different local studios in which to make your
recording - but the one I prefer to use does not have ISDN
capabilities. However it does have the ability to use a phone
patch. This means that you don't need to have expensive equipment
on your end. All you need is a phone and you can be in on the recording
session, directing it as you see fit. No, it's not as crystal clear
as ISDN, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper. ;-)
If you'd like to be in on the recording session for your project
via a phone patch, please feel free to indicate that to me when
you email or talk to me on the phone.
When you email
me or call me (905-836-5444) I'll need the following
information in order to fulfill your request:
- a small sample of your script (if you
have one)
- direction on the tone and feel you're
going for
- information on who your message is going
out TO
- your approximate budget
- your timeline
- an estimation of what your full project
involves
- whether you need an "in house" audition
or session (I'm in the Toronto and GTA area) or if you're ok with
an emailed or downloadable MP3 file
- If you need ISDN capabilities so that
you can talk with me during the session (this will dictate which
studio I choose to do your recording in).
If your organization is a nonprofit, I'd
love to know! I give discounts to folks that really would like a
professional voice, but are just starting out. I'm sure we can come
to some agreeable terms.
I genuinely enjoy what I do
and if your project is unusual or intrigues me, I'll do everything
I can to make the price right for you.
Thanks for your interest and I look forward
to hearing from you!
